Otawa River Canoe Brigade

The Ottawa River Canoe Brigade is the paddling arm of the Ottawa River Heritage Designation Committee.

The Brigade provides a highly visible and interactive means of engaging partners to maximize the full range of benefits associated with the Canadian Heritage Rivers System program. Through its interaction with communities along the Ottawa, the Bridage inspires participants to connect with the RIver's heritage and share in its safe keeping.

The Brigade is composed of three 21' North Canoes that seat six paddlers each and weigh 110 pounds, plus one 15' Prospector tandem canoe weighing 60 pounds.
